About Franck Olejniczak
Franck Olejniczak is Country Manager Canada at Schweizer Electronic Inc., based in Toronto since February 2026. A Franco Swiss national, he is fully bilingual in French and English and brings over 25 years of international experience, primarily gained in Switzerland (Canton of St. Gallen), where he built a strong track record in sales leadership, marketing, and business development.

An engineer by training, Franck has developed and scaled new business activities across highly technical and regulated industries, including space, medtech, life sciences, and now rail. Throughout his career, he has led complex transformations, restructured organizations, and driven growth in demanding environments where safety, compliance, and performance are critical.

Today, he is leading the establishment and expansion of Schweizer Electronic’s Canadian operations from the ground up, combining Swiss engineering excellence with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on building long term partnerships across the Canadian rail ecosystem.

About Schweizer Electronic Inc.
Schweizer Electronic Inc. is the Canadian subsidiary of Schweizer Electronic AG, a Swiss company with more than 60 years of expertise in railway safety.

The company supports the Canadian rail sector with advanced safety solutions designed to protect track workers and secure level crossings. Its portfolio includes Automatic Track Warning Systems (ATWS), delivering fully redundant and highly reliable SIL4 certified safety systems, as well as a range of level crossing solutions adapted to different risk environments, from cost efficient systems such as VAMOS to fully integrated crossing protection systems.

Schweizer Electronic complements its technology offering with engineering, deployment, commissioning, maintenance, and technical support services, ensuring a comprehensive, end to end approach. Recognized as a European leader with a growing international footprint, the company serves railway operators and infrastructure contractors worldwide.

Its key differentiator lies in its deep specialization in railway safety as a core business for over six decades, combined with fully redundant system architectures that meet the highest safety standards. This commitment is reflected in its guiding principle: “Safety on Tracks.”

Swiss Canadian Perspective
With the launch of its Canadian subsidiary, Schweizer Electronic is strengthening its presence in North America and aims to build long term partnerships within the Canadian rail ecosystem.

Through his dual Swiss and international background, Franck Olejniczak plays a key role in bridging Swiss engineering excellence with Canadian market needs. Joining the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a natural step to increase visibility, foster collaboration, and contribute to the development of strong bilateral business relationships.
