On December 20, 2023, the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce hosted a gala dinner in the newly opened sustainable 1 Hotel in Toronto, which is managed by our SCCC board member and fellow Swiss, Andrea Nizzola. Close to a 100 guests attended this spectacular event in the luxurious Maple Ballroom. We were treated to welcome drinks and hors d'oeuvres followed by a delicious 3 course dinner, which featured seasonal flavours by Chef Manish Kesar. The musical entertainment was provided by DJ John, who kept the audience dancing until midnight.
One of the evening's highlights was the grand raffle. The 2 lucky winners received each a very generous voucher for a SWISS International Airlines flight. A special thanks to SWISS International Airlines for donating this main prize.
