In May Adecco and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce teamed up to host the first of many more Breakfast Series Events. Special thank you to our partners at Swiss Chamber Alexandra Soriano-Bernhard and Sandra Leuba who are absolute professionals and made this event happen!
The topic was “Leading Through The Great Disruption. How A Human-Centric Approach to AI Creates a Talent Advantage.” We heard perspectives from our own Bettina Schaller, Head of Government Affairs for The Adecco Group, and President of the World Employment Forum; and our other Special Guest, Ambassador to Canada and the Bahamas for Switzerland, his Excellency Olaf Kjelsen who has had a prestigious diplomatic career, matched with a background as an electrical engineer.
We reviewed the research findings conducted by The Adecco Group in partnership with The Oxford Group, with 2000 C-Suite Executives, across 9 countries., gaining thought provoking insights from the executives around the table.
One of the findings? While the Buy vs Build gap is widest for AI talent, it extends to other digital skills, with 62% of leaders saying they will hire externally, compared with the balance saying they will reskill or upskill teams.
