Afterwards, Tanya Cerniuk, Country Head of Adecco Canada shared the highlights of Adecco's most recent research, the "Global Workforce of the Future". This report investigates the evolving landscape of work, focusing on the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and the need for adaptability. Their research, which surveyed 35,000 workers across 27 countries, highlights that economic uncertainty and job security are top concerns for employees. Despite these challenges, workers are proactive about personal development and see AI as an opportunity for career growth. The report emphasizes the importance of upskilling and internal mobility, with only 11% of the workforce currently being 'future-ready.' Employers must commit to continuous skills development and transparent communication to build a resilient and adaptable workforce. To read more, click here.
