President's Message
Happy Holiday!
It is thanks to each and everyone of you that we continue to operate a dynamic and proactive Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce. This year was filled with unique events and networking opportunities. We started the year with a fondue dinner and ended the year with a raclette gala. In between, we focused our activities on trends and businesses. In all of our events, we have reinforced our links between Canada and Switzerland, between tradition and innovation.
The commitment of the Board never wavered and everyone has been working hard behind the scenes. We enjoyed another year of progression towards new technologies and will continue to do so in 2019. We have partnered with Swiss start up Gremis to provide you with essential information about the importance and impact of blockchain in our current economy.
Also of great importance, we have launched several key initiatives that will support our efforts to further enhance the collaboration with Swiss authorities and representations in Canada.
While Winter, the coldest season of the year, is associated with plunging temperatures and icy weather, it is also a time for appreciation, for friendship and family.
