On November 17, 2018 the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce hosted another spectacular Gala in the historic Sovereign ballroom of the King Edward Hotel in Toronto. Nearly 140 guests attended this formal event with a new concept: Instead of a 5 course meal, Executive Swiss Chefs Daniel Schick and Hans-Ulrich Herzig prepared an original Swiss Raclette, complete with an elaborate buffet of cold cuts and cured meats followed by the famous Sweet Finale, consisting of Swiss dessert specialties.

The musical entertainment was provided by the accoustic trio Soul Tones
, which kept the audience dancing until past midnight. Such a grand event would not be possible without the suppport of many companies and indiviuals. A special thanks to Switzerland Tourism
for providing two first class Swiss travel passes for the grand raffle, and for Ingrid Laederach from Swissmaster Chocolatier
for donating the table favours.
