Switzerland Travel Experience 2023: Connecting Canadian Travelers with Swiss Beauty
Switzerland Tourism Canada recently concluded its highly anticipated Switzerland Travel Experience 2023, a captivating roadshow that showcased the best of Switzerland to the Canadian audience. With events held from 30th May to 2nd June in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver, this journey brought together Swiss partners and influential Canadian travel professionals, fostering connections and promoting the allure of Switzerland.
Featuring 17 Swiss partners, the Switzerland Travel Experience presented a wide range of remarkable destinations, travel experiences, and services, captivating attendees and immersing them in the beauty and cultural richness of Switzerland. From breathtaking mountain landscapes to charming towns and thrilling outdoor adventures, the event offered a glimpse into the diverse offerings of this enchanting country.
The roadshow served as a platform for networking, presentations, and discussions, facilitating valuable exchanges between Swiss partners and Canadian travel industry professionals. This engagement will contribute to the continued growth of Canadian visitors to Switzerland, building upon the positive trend highlighted by an 8.6% increase in April figures compared to 2019.
With the summer re-introduction of the flight routes, such as Edelweiss flights from Calgary and Vancouver to Zurich, Switzerland is becoming even more accessible to Canadian travelers. The event also provided inspiration for future collaborations, as the captivating landscapes of Alberta reminded participants of the natural beauty and similarities between the two regions.
