President's Message:

Dear SCCC members and colleagues,

Happy (late) and prosperous New Year from the SCCC Team. 

This year’s first newsletter offers a moment to reflect on the momentum the SCCC built over the quarter, from engaging events and policy discussions to the growing strength of our business community, while also looking ahead to the opportunities that 2026 will bring. 

We would like to thank our valued members for their support throughout 2025. In particular thanks to our corporate partners, the SCCC was able to provide value with insightful and engaging events. Worth highlighting are the AI panel discussion hosted at Miller Thomson, the C-Level Roundtable hosted by Adecco and featuring Dr. Philipp Haesler, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Canada, and Mr. Hervé Lohr, Deputy Head of Economic Relations Americas at the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), who provided valuable perspectives on trade, tariffs, and Swiss-Canadian economic cooperation.

We closed out the year in style with a grand gala at The St. Regis Toronto an unforgettable celebration of community, connections, and shared Swiss-Canadian spirit.

In this edition, we share insights on upcoming priorities, highlight an important SME grant opportunity, feature expert legal perspectives relevant to today’s business environment, and proudly welcome new members who are joining our growing Chamber. Happy reading!
