Events Recap - 2025

European Chamber's Meet-Up hosted by SCCC

It was our pleasure to organize this ever growing networking event on November 18. It was truly a wonderful gathering, a relaxed evening filled with great conversations, familiar faces, and new connections. The atmosphere had an easy harmony to it, and it was a pleasure seeing so many engaged and supportive members of our community come together. Thank you to everyone who joined us. It is because of you that these events are so successful!

Thank you also for all collaborating chambers:

A special thank-you goes to Shane Downey and the incredible team at the Chelsea Hotel, Toronto. Their professionalism and support made the organization of this event incredibly smooth, and we are grateful for their partnership.

Congratulations as well to all of our raffle prize winners. We extend our thanks to our corporate member Lindt, for the beautiful chocolate basket, and to our colleagues at the Swedish, Polish Chambers and Mr. Millo Vassallo for generously contributing in providing raffle prizes.

We also took a moment to welcome our new entrepreneur members, Thomas J. Sandrin, MBA and Michelle Seemann.

Breakfast Roundtable – Trade Landscape & Tariff Impacts

On April 24, 2025, the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Ontario) hosted a Breakfast Roundtable exclusively for our Corporate Members at UBS Bank (Canada) in Toronto.

The discussion focused on the evolving trade landscape and the business implications of new tariff measures. We had the honour of welcoming Dr. Philipp Häsler, Deputy Head of Mission at the Swiss Embassy to Canada, who led a candid exchange on current geopolitical and economic developments affecting Swiss-Canadian trade.

A special thank you to UBS Canada and Sarah Bevan for hosting this SCCC event.
