On October 7, Swiss Alumni and SCCC professionals gathered for an evening of connection, conversation, and shared Swiss spirit.
Our Swiss Alumni & SCCC gathering at the Duke of York brought together an exceptional group of professionals and alumni for a night of meaningful exchanges, lively discussion, and renewed connections. Graduates of Swiss universities and members of our community came together to share insights and strengthen cross-industry ties.
We extend our sincere thanks to our alumni leaders for their engagement and leadership:
—and to their club members for contributing to such an engaging and memorable evening.
A special thank you to the Duke of York for their warm hospitality and excellent service. It is always a pleasure to return.
We look forward to welcoming everyone again at our next Swiss Alumni & SCCC professional gathering.

On April 24, 2025, the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Ontario) hosted a Breakfast Roundtable exclusively for our Corporate Members at UBS Bank (Canada) in Toronto.
The discussion focused on the evolving trade landscape and the business implications of new tariff measures. We had the honour of welcoming Dr. Philipp Häsler, Deputy Head of Mission at the Swiss Embassy to Canada, who led a candid exchange on current geopolitical and economic developments affecting Swiss-Canadian trade.
We also extend our sincere thanks to Pierre Ouimet, Senior Investment Strategist at UBS, for his thoughtful economic analysis on the impact of new tariffs, as well as to our corporate members who contributed to the discussion.
A special thank you to UBS Canada and Sarah Bevan for hosting this SCCC event.
It was a meaningful morning of dialogue, insight, and collaboration within our Swiss-Canadian business community.
