Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the way organizations operate, but according to The Adecco Group Business Leaders 2026 Report, the greatest challenge facing businesses today is not the technology itself, it's preparing people to embrace it. The report explores how organizations around the world are navigating AI adoption, leadership readiness, workforce transformation, and the importance of building trust in an increasingly AI-driven workplace.
The report highlights that organizations investing in transparent communication, continuous learning, and employee development are better positioned to unlock the full potential of AI. It also underscores the growing importance of leadership capability, responsible AI governance, and balancing the recruitment of AI-ready talent with the upskilling of existing teams. Together, these findings paint a clear picture of the future of work: one where people remain at the centre of technological transformation.
The Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce was pleased to provide members with the opportunity to explore these findings firsthand during our Executive Breakfast Roundtable, hosted in partnership with Adecco Canada on June 25, 2026. The morning brought together corporate members for networking over breakfast and premium coffee, generously sponsored by our Corporate Member FAEMA -Jura. We extend our sincere thanks to Chris Papastathopoulos and the entire FAEMA team for helping create such a welcoming atmosphere to begin the day.
Members then heard directly from Britta Kroupa, Country Head of Adecco Canada, who presented the report's findings and led an engaging discussion on the opportunities and challenges organizations face as AI continues to transform the workplace. We were also delighted to welcome Christophe Catoir, President of Adecco, and Geno Cutolo, Head of Adecco North America, whose presence further enriched the morning's conversations.
Key insights from the report

As AI continues to evolve, one message from the report remains clear: technology alone will not determine success. Organizations that prioritize their people, invest in leadership, and foster a culture of trust and continuous learning will be best positioned to thrive in the future of work.
