This summer, the Swiss-Canadian community came together to celebrate the excitement of the FIFA World Cup through a series of Swiss Cheer Gatherings, organized in collaboration by the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce – Ontario, the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce - Quebec, and the Swiss Canadian Chamber of Commerce - Vancouver.

In Ontario, these memorable gatherings were made possible thanks to the outstanding efforts of our friends at the Swiss Club Toronto, who organized each event and created a welcoming space for the Swiss-Canadian community to come together. A heartfelt thank you to Philippe Moser and Céline Baracho, whose dedication, planning, and countless hours behind the scenes made these celebrations such a tremendous success. Their hard work brought together members, families, friends, and supporters to celebrate every match, every goal, and every unforgettable moment throughout the tournament.

A special highlight was the June 24 match between Switzerland and Canada, where our Ontario community gathered for an exciting evening of football, friendship, and Swiss-Canadian spirit. We extend our sincere gratitude to our Corporate Member, Forvest Global Wealth Management, for generously sponsoring the snacks and refreshments that helped make the evening even more enjoyable.
